    At the East India Travel Awards function, West Bengal Tourism Minister, Sri Bratya Basu presented the Wall of Legends Award to Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Swosti Group, Sri J. K. Mohanty, at the Novotel Hotel, Kolkata on 10th October 2014 for Swosti Group's contribution to the hospitality and tourism sector in Eastern India.

    Bharatiya Paryatan Vikkas Ratan Award To Swosti Travels


    Mr J. K. Mohanty, Chief of Swosti Travels was nominated for Bharatiya Paryatan Vikas Ratan Award instituted by International Business Productivity Forum. Mr Mohanty was honoured during the 21st National Seminar on Individual Achievers Contributions for Indian Economy on 20th April 2009 in the presentation ceremony at New Delhi. Eminent personalities like Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, Smt. Maneka Gandhi, Sh. Shahnawaz Hussain and  Sh. Sis Ram Ola were associated with this prestigious event. This is yet another golden cap to Mr Mohanty's untiring effort for the promotion of Odisha.

    J. K. Mohanty, Honoured By India International Council For Industrial & Trade


    From Eastern India, Shri J. K. Mohanty, MHCIMA, CMD of Swosti Group became the first person to receive Rashtriya Samman instituted by India International Council for Industries and Trade in its 13th National Seminar held at New Delhi, which was jointly convened by Health & Education Development Association and Economic & Human Resources Development Association. The award was given by Bhai Mohavir, Ex-Governor of Madhya Pradesh.

    PATWA Awards


    The Pacific Asia Travel Writers Association (PATWA) in its annual convention has conferred the award to Mr J. K. Mohanty, Managing Director of Swosti Group (Hotel-Resorts-Travels) and Chairman of the Hotels & Restaurant Association of Odisha for his outstanding contribution in promoting the tourism and hospitality industry of Odisha. The award was given to Mr Mohanty at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi on 18th August 2012. This award recognizes the leadership quality in the field of Hotel, Tourism, Destinations, Airlines, Travel agent and Individuals. It recognizes the professional work done by Swosti Group under the aegis of Mr J. K. Mohanty. The award was presented by Mr M. P. Bezbaruah, Chairman of the United Nations World Travel Organisation (UNWTO)

    Odisha Corporate Award


    Odisha Corporate Award was presented by Shri Pyari Mohapatra, Hon'ble MP, in the presence of Shri Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister for Forest to Shri J. K. Mohanty, Managing Director of Swosti Group (Hotel-Resorts-Travels) and Chairman of Hotels & Restaurant Association of Odisha for his outstanding contribution for promoting tourism and hospitality industry of Odisha, in a function at Jayadev Bhavan on 8th April 2012. Shri J. K. Mohanty is also the Chairman of the Indian Association of Tour Operators Odisha Chapter and played a key role in attracting the national convention of the IATO. He has been touring across the globe, promoting the potential of Odisha tourism since 1984. Swosti Group under the leadership of Shri Mohanty earned many awards which include International Gold Star for Quality, Madrid 1992, International Gold Star Award, Spain 1989, Young Entrepreneurs' Award from Mrs Renuka Choudhuri in 2007, Business Leadership Award 2009 from CM Shri Navin Pattnaik and Nilachakra Samman from the Governor of Odisha, Shri Chandra Kant Bhandare.

    International Goldstar Award To J. K. Mohanty


    Mr J. K. Mohanty, Chief of Swosti Group was nominated for the International Gold Star Award, for his contribution to the economic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and India. He was invited to receive the award for his distinguished role in the development and fostering of strong bonds of relationship in different fields. The award is instituted by the Citizen Peace Society and was handed over during an international conference titled 'Celebrating the Global Indian' on 28th December 2008 in Bangkok. Besides the strong historical cultural relationship with India, Thailand with its old dynamic community of Indian origin has prospered mostly for their economic collaboration and contribution.

    J. K. Mohanty, Honoured By Russian Embassy


    Mr J. K. Mohanty, Chief of Swosti Group was conferred upon the rare diplomatic honour by the Russian Embassy in a mammoth gathering of ambassadors from Commonwealth Independent States (CIS), Non-aligned countries and dignitaries from other diplomatic missions at New Delhi on 19th January 2007. The award was given to commemorate the visit of Vladimir V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation to India on 26th January 2007, on the occasion of the 58th Republic Day. A seminar titled 'Sixth Decades of Indo-Russian Historic Relationship' was organized by the Russian Center of Science & Culture and Foreign Policy Research Institute, New Delhi as a prelude to the award-giving ceremony. The honour captioned 'Meritorious Award-2007 for Promotion of International Tourism and Hotel Industries in India' was given to Mr Mohanty by Fybor A. Razovsky, Charge-D-Affairs, Russian Embassy and Director of Russian Center of Science & Culture. The Swosti Chief incidentally became the first recipient of such recognition from the Eastern India in the hospitality & travel industries.
