Kalijai temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali and Jai. It is located on the island in Chilika Lake. The temple is highly revered by local people and fisherman community. This temple got its name from a village girl named jai who according to the legend was drowned and became the Goddess Kalijai.

One can find almost every species of birds in bird sanctuary of Odisha. The sanctuary attracts a large number of birds during winter where bird enthusiasts can have a blissful view of those beautiful creatures. The birds like white bellied sea eagles, Graylag geese, purple moorhen, flamingo, jacana, herons, Brahminy kite, spotbilled pelican, heron, egret, pelican, kingfisher etc are found in large numbers.

Here, different types of boats are available along with their rate charts. Dolphins are the main attractions of the boat ride for tourists. Narayani Temple

Narayani Temple is dedicated to ten armed goddess Narayani or Lakshmi and is located in Narayani village situated near Khalikote, Odisha, India. The temple is popular for Durga Puja and a fair held in the Indian month of Chaitra. The temple was renovated by the zamindars of Khalikote in the early 18th century. It is 06kms away from the Resort.

Purvasha Folk and Tribal Art Museum is set up at ODIART Centre,Barakul,Chilika,Odisha in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Ministry of Tourism, Government of Odisha, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation, Govt. of Odisha.The Museum is inaugurated by Sj. Naveen Patnaik , Honourable Chief Minister Of Odisha on 9th December 2017. It is 10kms away from the Resort. The theme of the current exhibition is "Man as Maker of the God" curated By Sh. Kedar Mishra.

The Nirmaljhar

The Nirmaljhar is a perennial stream in the Ganjam District in the Indian state of Odisha. It is located beside the temple of Lord Vishnu. The Nirmaljhar flows from the Badaghati Mountains in Eastern Ghats. Khallikote princess Smt. Sugyani Devi has currently formed a committee to promote Nirmaljhar as a tourist site. It is around 10kms from the Resort.

Taratarini Temple on the Kumari hills at the bank of the River Rushikulya near Brahmapur city in Ganjam District, Odisha, India is worshiped as the Breast Shrine and manifestations of Adi Shakti. It is around 55kms from the Resort.

The Potagada fort

The Potagada fort is an archaeological wonder. Situated in present-day Ganjam district, it was built 247 years ago. The state government had identified Potagada under the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Project (ICZMP), a World Bank assisted initiative. It is around 35kms from the Resort.

Budhakhol

Budhakhol is a heritage site of Odisha located in Buguda block of Ganjam District in Odisha, India. It is located about 65 km away from the Resort. The old heritage is known for its beautiful trees, caves, temples and perennial waterfall which attracts tourists.Another attraction point of the place is the presence of a group of five temples. The five temples are Sri Sri Makareswar Swami, Sri Sri Gangadhareswar Swami, Sri Sri Jagadieshwar Swami, Sri Sri Siddheswar Swami, Sri Sri Budheswar Swami, which is popularly known as Panchu Mahadeva Temple.

The Black Buck of Vetnai is a scheduled 1 animal under the Wild life Protection Act 1972.The unique beautiful species of Indian antilope(Antelope Cervicapra) known as “Krishnasara” or Baliharina or kala Baudia in different localities of Orissa is an endangered species is commonly found in Bhetanoi-Balipadar areas of Ghumusar South Division of Ganjam-Dist Black buck is considered to be fastest animal in the world next to cheetah . They live in these areas peacefully symbolizing an explanatory form of man-animal harmonious relationship. The local community protects these animals with a socio-religious sentiment prevailing in the locality. people believe that these animals are harbingers of prosperity and good fortune. It is located about 55 km away from the Resort

The Jiranga Monastery

The Jiranga Monasteryalso known as Thupten Mindrolling Monastery located at Chandragiri, Gajapati district, in the state of Odisha, India, as the main monastaray belonging to the Ripa Lineage. It is said to be the largest Buddhist monastery in Eastern India. It was inaugurated by the Dalai Lama in January 2010. It is located about 165 km away from the Resort and 03hrs drive from the Resort.

Daringibadi is a hill station in Kandhmal district of Odisha state in eastern India. Widely known as "Kashmir of Odisha", it is situated at a height of 3000 ft and is a popular tourist destination. Back in the days of the British rule, there was a British officer named Daring Saheb who was in charge of this place. It is located about 140 km away from the Resort and 02hrs drive from the Resort.
