Dhavaleshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple lies on the top of Dhavaleshwar Island which is a great attraction for a large number of devotees. The sculpture of temple dates back to the 10th century. During the month of November, this temple is flooded with a large number of devotees for Dhavaleshwar Mela, Shivarathri, and Bada Osha.

Tara Tarini Temple

Tara Tarani temple is one of the ancient tantra pitha of Odisha. This temple worships Goddess Shakti also called Goddess Sati. Tara Tarani Temple is considered as one of the most admired Shakti Peethas & Tantra Peethas in Odisha. This temple is major pilgrimage center of Hinduism. In every house of south Odisha, Goddess Tara and Tarini has been presiding deity.

This lake is home to a number of plants and animals. It is the largest coastal lagoon and largest wintering ground for migratory birds. It hosts over 160 species of birds in the peak migratory season and is an ecosystem with large fishery resource. This lake sustains the life of a large number of fishermen living nearby.

Chillika Lake (Barkul)

Chillika Lake in Barkul is a hub of tourism. This lake is a home to many migratory birds and other endangered species. Tourists enjoy boating here, and the main attraction for boating are the Kalijai Temple and Nalabana bird sanctuary. During the month of February and November, visitors can see the island of this lake filled with beautiful birds.

In Odia language, Nalabana means weed covered island. During migratory season thousands of birds are seen in this sanctuary. It is a major island in the center of the Chilika Lake which gets completely submerged during the monsoon season. This lake is a home to various birds like moorhens, coots, jacanas, pond herons, night herons, kingfisher, rollers, ducks etc.

Goddess Bhairabi Temple

Goddess Bhairabi temple is situated at mantridi in Ganjam district of Odisha. The presiding deity is Goddess Bhairabi and the goddess is known here as Maa Siddha Vairabi. The temple also houses 108 sub shrines that are dedicated to all Hindu Gods. Sankranti and Tuesdays in this temple are considered auspicious.

Tampra boat club is one of the most famous tourist's destinations which is situated in Chatrapur, Odisha. It is a prime water sports destination with boat club. It is an ideal place for picnics and water sports. Here, one can enjoy boating, water scooter ride, jogging, morning walk, day outing, other leisure water sports, etc.

Light House

The light House of Odisha is surrounded by pleasant natural beauty. A climb to the top of the lighthouse offers bird's eye view of the nearby beach and other areas. The lighthouse is a 25 m high circular tower with black and white bands and it is situated on a large island created by Mahanadi River Delta.

Tapta Pani is hot spring attributed with medicinal properties. Tapta pani is surrounded by beautiful hills of Eastern ghats. This natural hot spring continuously rises from the ground and is believed to cure skin diseases and body aches. The Separate bathing facility is provided for the visitors visiting this hot spring. Here, the Temple and a deer park are the other attractions.
